Many of our customers wonder what features to start with after integrating their stores with Metrilo. That’s why we decided to put together this short guide to give you a smooth start.

First things first

The first thing we recommend you to do after setting up your account is simple – just go around Metrilo’s features and have a quick look at what they do.

Chances are, most features aren’t showing very meaningful reports at first. But don’t worry, that’s normal. Metrilo just started tracking the behavior of your visitors and some analyses need a little bit more data to give you valuable insights.

In case you’re impatient, check the Live View and see what’s going on on your website right now. Probably there is somebody there and you should be able to see something like this:

You can explore the visitor profiles by simply clicking on them. You will see the complete sessions history of that visitor. Yep – we manage to accumulate all visitor sessions into a single person’s profile.

From this point on, your next step should definitely be importing your previous customers.

Step two

The importing can take 5 to 15 minutes, depending on the size of your historical data. Metrilo pulls small chunks of data in a few sessions so that it doesn’t slow down your site.

While waiting, you might want to invite some of your team members to your project. There is no limit on the number of people who can join.

Also, some settings should be done – it takes one minute but improves the accuracy of your statistics.

Metrilo syncs order statuses as soon as they get updated in your store backend. Choosing the right status “categories” to count as revenue is key to accuracy throughout our platform.

Having the orders set, you’re good to go deep into reports and analysis.

If we left a question unanswered, you can check our FAQ section or simply message us on the live chat within the system.

Thanks for reading,

Metrilo Team
